Everybody loves playing Blackjack. Because Blackjack is easy to learn compared to Poker for instance Blackjack is a favorite among seasoned professional card players and new card players alike. A lot has been said about Blackjack with regard to counting cards. Card counting has been around for years and very basically works like this:

Blackjack Card Counting

Cards: Ace, King, Queen, Jack & 10 all equal minus one (-1)

Cards: 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 all equal plus one (+1)

Cards: 7, 8, & 9 count as zero (0)

Now as the cards are dealt you apply the +1 and -1 using the chart above in your head and keep a running total. The higher the positive number the better it is for the player, the lower the negative number the better it is for the dealer.

Example:
Count is (-9) = Cards favor the dealer
Count is (=9) = Cards favor the player
